The past few years I found myself at a normal gym and quickly got bored with the routine and excessive focus on aesthetics. CrossFit changed everything up in that somebody else does the programming and thinking for you, it is different and exciting every day, the focus is on strength and performance rather than aesthetics (but hang around a while and that happens all on its own), and you get to do all of this with a great bunch of people that share like-minded interests. My CrossFit is a fun and friendly workout environment where you are not only signed up as a member of a CrossFit gym, but are also a part of it. For me it’s my home away from home. The coaches are motivating, professional, and attentive to each individual member’s progress and fitness requirements. No matter your level of fitness, whether it’s your first time in a gym or you have been living a fitness lifestyle for years, My CrossFit caters for everyone.
I have found my exercise programme…CrossFit! Every session is different and challenging and I have found myself being able to do things that I had long given up. I am back to tennis. I now walk the dogs up long uphills without complaining and my improving strength and flexibility is enabling me to do heavy garden tasks without waiting for the gardener. I have improved focus and motivation and feel stronger and healthier than I have in a long time. I feel victorious with every little improvement I make.
